Urethane elastomers were synthesised from poly(ethylene adipate), diphenylmethane 4,4'-diisocyanate and different dlols as chain extenders. Then C-C cross-links were formed by means of cumyl peroxide. It has been found that the macroscopic properties and morphology of urethane elasto­mers depend on the used amount of cumyl peroxide and on the obtained crosslinking density of C-C and allophanate links.
