The erection of shallow underground in Warsaw shall require means for the reduction of detrimental vibrations and noises in its neighbourhood. A review of vibro-insulatlng systems of underground pavement used since many years in many cities of Europe has been presented and the results o f studies on the rubber cushions developed at the Stomil Rubber Industry Intitute to be applied in a selected system of track structure of the first line of underground in Warsaw discussed.
