Summary

The article is the second part of the paper [1], which describes the possibilities of applying the Industry 4.0 concept in production processes related to the processing of polymer materials. In this part, the structure of the information system architecture has been analyzed, which can be used in the plastics processing. An architecture dedicated to complex industrial production systems based on the spiral life cycle of the product implemented in the Industry 4.0 structure has been proposed. The presented model is flexible, hence it is possible to use it both to create a completely new infrastructure, as well as to modernize and extend the existing infrastructure of the processing industry.
