Summary

A review with 35 refs. covering the specific features of homo and copolymerization of vinyl. monomers with allyl compounds and olefins, initiated by organometallic compounds of non-transition metals. When coordinated to the growing macroradicals, the organometallic compounds modify the reactivity and thus directly affect the formation of macromolecules at the chain growth step.
